With 25 years of experience in geomatics, Chris North is anaccomplished GIS professional who brings an in-depth understanding ofenterprise GIS and technology trends to Esri Canada customers. In 2014, Chrisreturned to Esri Canada from his own independent consulting firm where heworked with clients on GIS strategy and implementation. Prior to starting hisfirm, Chris led Esri Canada’s Education, Technical Support and Marketing teamsfor over 12 years. He has a master's degree in GIS from the University ofEdinburgh in Scotland and an undergraduate degree in geography from Queen'sUniversity in Kingston, Ontario. Chris is also a graduate of the cartographyprogram at Sir Sandford Fleming College in Ontario. He is the recipient ofseveral industry awards and continues to be involved with many industry groups.Chris is currently a member of the GIS Advisory Board at Sir Sandford FlemingCollege.
